John Kulewicz
John J. Kulewicz has built his legal career on challenging conventional wisdom and taking on uphill battles. In his decades-long career, he has successfully argued and won cases before the Supreme Court of the United States and in courts throughout Ohio. John grew up in Columbus, where he saw firsthand the importance of good jobs and union membership to the economy of Ohio. He learned the values of hard work and independent judgment from his parents and grandparents, who came from Martins Ferry and Cincinnati. After graduating from The Ohio State University and Yale Law School, John joined one of Ohio’s top law firms. Outside of work, he is an accomplished long-distance swimmer and certified lifeguard. He lives with his wife Maryline in Upper Arlington where he has served on the City Council since 2020. He and Maryline are the proud parents of Adam and Abigail.

Allison Russo
Allison Russo is a State Representative who flipped a Republican seat in 2018 and served as Democratic Leader of the Ohio House from 2022 to 2025. She has focused on supporting working families, strengthening public education, protecting voting rights, advancing reproductive freedom, and expanding labor protections.
During her time on the Ohio Redistricting Commission, Russo advocated for fair legislative maps and helped secure changes that improved Democratic representation and preserved pathways for future electoral competition. She has also played a key role in major policy efforts, including defeating the 2023 “60% power-grab” ballot issue, supporting the passage of reproductive freedom in Ohio’s constitution, advancing the Fair School Funding Plan, and increasing funding for child care and direct care workforce wages.
Russo brings experience in both lawmaking and statewide policy negotiations and has been a leading voice on democracy, healthcare, and education in Ohio.

Laura Sirot
Laura Sirot is a professor and associate chair of Biology at The College of Wooster, where she has conducted research on insect vectors of human pathogens and agricultural pests. A recipient of NIH grants, a Fulbright award, and an HHMI grant, she is active in community service—supporting children and family services, sustainability, and animal rescue. Co-founder of the Wooster Science Café and a foster parent and mentor, Laura is committed to public engagement and improving Ohio’s future, motivating her 2026 run for State Senate in District 31.

Amanda Fontana
Amanda Fontana is a dedicated community leader, educator, and social worker running for State Representative to provide a voice for Ohio's working families in House District 51. A sixth-generation resident of the district, Amanda currently serves on the New Philadelphia City Schools Board of Education and is an Adjunct Instructor at Stark State College. Her career has been defined by over two decades of experience in social work and advocacy, including her work as an independent provider through the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities.
A graduate of Stark State College, The University of Akron, and Cleveland State University, where she earned her Master of Social Work, Amanda values hard work, educational equity, and transparent public service. Outside of her professional roles, she is a devoted mother of three and a passionate advocate for families navigating the complex healthcare and specialized support systems in Ohio.
