Christine Weimer

Christine attended Ohio Northern University Law School where she met her husband, Ed Breehl while attending ONU. After graduating, they moved to New Philadelphia and were married.
She is a lifelong, proud public servant, serving as Prosecutor for the City of New Philadelphia and Dover. In 2012, she was hired by Judge VonAllman as Magistrate in New Philadelphia Municipal Court. As a Magistrate, she hear evidence presented on a wide variety of topics and render decisions.  She hears both criminal and civil cases on a daily basis, including an  initial appearance on felony charges.


In addition to her responsibility as a Magistrate,  she is also the president of The Ohio Association of Magistrates. They have over 700 members and their primary purpose is to develop education for a Spring and Fall conference.  Each conference is 3 days wherein they have both national and local speakers present topics to their members. 


She has also presented education to Magistrates and Judges across the state through the Ohio Supreme Court's Judicial College on a myriad of topics regarding the law and the impact on judicial officers.
