Bryan Hambley

Bryan is a cancer doctor and community advocate who has dedicated his career to fighting for patients and standing up for what’s right. He has organized communities to challenge pharmaceutical industry influence, expand access to healthcare, and protect voting rights.

As a leukemia specialist, Bryan has worked alongside care teams to support hundreds of patients and families. Through this work, he has seen how high costs, insurance denials, and rural hospital closures are failing Ohioans—while state leaders remain unresponsive. He is running for office to continue advocating for his patients and community beyond the hospital.

Bryan organized medical professionals to push back against misleading 2024 ballot language and spoke with voters across Ohio about how gerrymandering affects government accountability. Through these efforts, he found broad support for a government that truly serves its people.

Bryan and his wife, Jana, a trauma surgeon, are raising their two young children with a shared commitment to democracy and standing up for what’s right.
